Puzzle variants
Ghosted puzzles come in several families and structural variants. If you are not sure where to start, jump to the quick picks section below.
Main families
Ghosted Rooms
The classic experience. Divide the grid into rooms that match the allowed shapes. Rotations and mirrors are allowed. Numbers inside a room must all be different, or the room can stay empty.
Ghosted Worms
A rooms variant where every room is a snake-like shape (“worm”). These puzzles often feel more constrained and pattern-driven.

Ghosted Snakes
A longer version of Worm puzzles. The idea is the same — snake-like rooms — but the shapes are longer, which makes planning and spatial reasoning more important.
Miniatures
Smaller puzzles (area under 36). Great for quick solving sessions. Small does not always mean easy.
Structure variants
These labels describe how the puzzle was generated or optimized. They influence difficulty and solving style.
Maximized
Every cell contains a number. More clues often make deductions easier and faster.
Minimized
The puzzle has been reduced as much as possible while keeping a unique solution. If any more numbers were removed, uniqueness would be lost. These often feel cleaner and sometimes more challenging.
